About Ledger

I'm Dr. Daniel Dibaba, and Ledger came out of the same frustration that led to Sign: every tool built for a task I do a handful of times a month is priced and shaped for a company with a finance department, not a person.

Invoicing is the clearest case. I don't need an accounting suite, a bookkeeping module, or a payments platform I have to configure before I can send a single bill. I need to add a client, list what I did, and send a professional PDF that says what's owed and by when.

So that's what Ledger is: a client, an invoice, a due date. No seat fees, no seat minimums, and nothing you'll never open.
